I and my wife went to Kuala Lumpur in December 2010. Our final destination was Langkawi and we were in Kuala Lumpur only for 20 hours. There is a lot to do in the city but we chose to keep our expeditions crisp.
When you think of this city, the one picture that comes to your mind is the Petronas Twin Towers or Menara Petronas. The towers are 451.9 m tall and is a delight for the eye, especially during the night.

The other major architecture is the Kuala Lumpur Tower or Menara KL. The KL Tower is a 421m high telecommunications and broadcasting tower which was open to the public in 1996.

Other attractions in and around Kuala Lumpur: The city has several avenues such as, bird park, aquarium, China town, etc. When in Kuala Lumpur, you could also plan a visit to Genting Highlands. It has a theme park with fun activities for all age groups. Easiest way to go to Genting is to take a bus from KL Sentral.
